Bio

Allyson Paige has made a name for herself throughout the San Francisco Bay Area as a result of her powerful, sultry voice and exceptional ability to cut across all musical genres by making the songs she sings all her own.  She has delivered memorable, table-pounding performances with raw emotional power at Slims, The Great American Music Hall, The Sweetwater Saloon, The Mystic Theatre, and many festivals and special events all over the Bay Area.

Chris Stafford plays a wide variety of styles.  As a sideman in the early nineties, he played in big bands behind numerous old school jazz artists such as Red Rodney and Joe Defrancesco.  Some of the local Bay Area musicians who have recorded with Chris include Frank Martin, Mark Van Wageningen, Paul Van Wageningen, and Dolly Rappaport.  As a songwriter, he has written and arranged songs for his own CDs as well as for independent film.  Chris is one of the millions of men who fell hopelessly in love with Joni without ever having met her.

 
 

Edo Castro has worked with such artists as Mark Isham, Michael Manring, David Friesen, Al Caldwell, Percy Jones, Stuart Hamm, Caroline Aiken, and Jill Knight.  His second CD, “Phoenix,” was in the running for a Grammy in 2006 for Best New Contemporary Jazz.  With over 20 CD credits to his name, Edo endorses Conklin Basses, Bee Basses, APC Basses, and Watson Guitars.

 
 

Brad McKeague has been performing on drums in the Bay Area for 35 years.  He studied with Chuck Brown for 14 years, played with the UC Berkeley Jazz Ensemble with Susan Muscarella and is versatile in a variety of musical styles.  Brad has played with pianist Jeff Labes, singer Shana Morrison, Paul McCandless, Kai Eckhardt, Edo Castro, Doug Morton, and many Bay Area local bands including Colorblind, The Ring, David Starck, and Walt Tolleson Big Band.  Among Brad’s musical influences are Chick Corea, Joshua Redman, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl.

 
 

John Christensen is a keyboard player, singer, and songwriter.  After studying classical and jazz piano as a youngster, he played solo and in many bands over the years in styles ranging from jazz to rockabilly, Motown to R&B, and rock.  He lives in Marin where he writes and records music in his home studio.
